Program details:

After meeting your guide and learning some new and basic island information, it’s time to start exploring the island.

This hike trail starts from Vidikovac, the highest place in this part of Hvar island (cca. 390 meters above sea level). From this vantage point, you’ll be able to see all surrounding islands and beautiful lavender fields.

We will walk through traditional mountain gems (Velo Grablje and Malo Grablje). Today, these villages are nearly abandoned and have but a few permanent villagers, but in the past, they were rich and prosperous, famous for good wine and olive oil production.

As you walk within the narrow streets you will feel like stepping back in time.
In the area, there are also many lavender and wild herbs fields. Your guide will make sure you get to know a lot of different plants that grow here. From the village of Malo Grablje, you will descend to the bay, to a typical little Mediterranean town of Milna on the south coast of the island. Here, your driver can pick you up and take you to Hvar port. Another option is to continue and finish the hike tour in Hvar town after 4 km more.

Hiking grade:

Hiking is simple but some basic knowledge is required. The trail is compacted surface and may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps. Walks no greater than 10km.
